Tim has been implementing dynamic, database-driven web sites for 12 years. He began developing sites in 1996 before joining Camworks in Jan. 1997 as the third full-time employee. For three years he continued to develop skills in site construction, application development, and information architecture while Camworks grew to over 30 people. In Dec. 1999, Camworks was acquired by Zamba Solutions, where Tim continued working in the web space for another year. In the Spring of 2001, Tim joined Banner Engineering Corporation as Webmaster, managing or assistant managing 9 corporate, international, internal and extranet websites. In addition to Banner, Tim does occasional freelance work as well as manages his personal projects, including webExpeditions.net which provides web support to scientific, educational and adventure expeditions.
Prior to web development, Tim worked as a desktop publishing specialist, focusing on integrating high-end publishing packages (FrameMaker, Interleaf) and databases for automated publishing solutions.
Tim has a Bachelors of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead (1989) in Graphic Communications with emphasis in Electronic Publishing.
